Erin & Randy Halvorson
Meet Erin and Randy Halvorson. They are the owners of Lake Shore Services, Inc. Randy started with Lake Shore Services in 2010. Randy purchased the business in 2013. Erin took on the Office Manager role in 2017 and became business partner as well when she and Randy married in 2018. Randy grew up in Starbuck, MN and moved to Fergus Falls in 1999. Erin grew up in Leonard, ND and graduated from Kindred High School. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Dakota in 2002. They have a blended family of 4 children; Morgan 19, Cole 16, Shanda 15, and Brie 12. What they love most about their job is the excitement of running their own Christian-based, family business that brings beauty, joy, and functionality to their customers. They love meeting new people and having a team of men that are truly upstanding, professional individuals that are dedicated to their job. One of the best parts of the day-to-day operations of the business is that no two days or projects are the same; and they get to travel to new places every day! In their free time, they enjoy volunteering at church, being involved in different ministries, hanging out with their kids doing their activities, and traveling to see new places.
Meet Scott Kern. Scott is a foreman that began with Lake Shore Services in the 2018 season. He grew up in Sabin, MN and went to DGF High school. He married his wife Anna in 2018 and has a 5-year-old son, Cooper. They have 3 dogs; Lindy, Rig, and Shanty. What Scott loves about his job at Lake Shore Services is being outdoors and enjoying the lakes. In his free time, he enjoys hunting and fishing.
Meet KJ McWethy. KJ has been a laborer with Lake Shore Services for 10 years. He grew up near Rothsay and was homeschooled. KJ’s parents are Lynn and Ken McWethy. His dad started Lake Shore Services over 30 years ago. KJ’s girlfriend is Nikkole Larson. What KJ loves about his job at Lake Shore Services is the satisfaction of a job well done at the end of the day. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and photography.
Meet Cole Halvorson. Cole began as a laborer with Lake Shore Services in the 2018 season. He is entering his Junior year in high school at Kennedy Secondary in Fergus Falls, MN. He is the son of the current owner, Randy Halvorson. What Cole loves about his job is the ability to be outdoors. In his free time, he enjoys camping, playing hockey, and watching movies.
Meet David Simonsen. David began as a laborer with Lake Shore Services in the 2018 season. He is entering his Senior year in high school at Kennedy Secondary in Fergus Falls, MN. He resides with 3 siblings and his mom in Fergus Falls. What David loves about his job is spending time outside. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, playing sports, 4-wheeling, and playing X-Box.
Meet Jeremy Brokke. Jeremy has been a laborer with Lake Shore Services for 3 years. He grew up in Fergus Falls and attended M State. He is single. What Jeremy loves about his job is throwing rocks and being by the lakes. In his free time, he enjoys cars, fishing and attending car shows.
Meet Brandon Teberg. Brandon is a foreman and has been with Lake Shore Services for 7 years. He graduated from Underwood High School. He attended South Dakota State University, where he graduated with a wildlife and fisheries degree. He is in a committed relationship. What Brandon loves about his job is seeing progress and watching a mess being turned into something beautiful. In his free time, he enjoys hunting and fishing.
Meet Yelisey Pribyshchuk. Yelisey is a foreman and has been with Lake Shore Services for 16 years. He was born in Belerus. He attended college in Ukraine. He moved to the US in 2002. Yelisey is married and has 3 daughters, a son-in-law, and a beautiful granddaughter. What Yelisey loves about his job is two-fold. 1. The process from the beginning to the end of the project…the excitement of seeing the before and after and the reaction of the customer and his employer of a job well done. 2. The environment that his co-workers and himself set for themselves every day. They make the day enjoyable and work doesn’t feel like work when they are together. Through everything that he does, he puts God first. He lives, serves, and works in a way that will bring glory to Him first and bring satisfaction to his customers. In his free time, he enjoys reading the Bible and spending time with his family and friends.
