With over 40 years of experience, Lake Shore Services is a trusted landscape and shoreline contractor serving the Lakes Area. We specialize in protecting lake properties and transforming underutilized or problem areas into functional, high-quality outdoor living spaces built to last. Our work goes beyond basic landscaping. From shoreline stabilization and riprap to retaining walls, patios, walkways, drainage solutions, and complete outdoor environments, we focus on creating spaces that are both durable and intentionally designed for how our clients live, gather, and enjoy their property.

Our Team

Erin and Randy Halvorson

Owners

Meet Erin and Randy Halvorson. They are the owners of Lake Shore Services, Inc. Randy started with Lake Shore Services in 2010. Randy purchased the business in 2013. Erin took on the Office Manager role in 2017 and became business partner as well when she and Randy married in 2018. Randy grew up in Starbuck, MN and moved to Fergus Falls in 1999. Erin grew up in Leonard, ND and graduated from Kindred High School. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Dakota in 2002. They have a blended family of 4 children; Morgan, Cole, Shanda, and Brie. They have two grandsons, Sylas (2021) and Kade (2025)! What they love most about their job is the excitement of running their own Christian-based, family business that brings beauty, joy, and functionality to their customers. They love meeting new people and having a team of individuals that are truly upstanding, professional individuals that are dedicated to their job. One of the best parts of the day-to-day operations of the business is that no two days or projects are the same; and they get to travel to new places every day! In their free time, they enjoy volunteering at church, being involved in different ministries, hanging out with their kids doing their activities, and traveling to see new places.

Alexis Menze

Senior Landscape Supervisor

Alexis Menze is the Irrigation Division Supervisor that began with Lake Shore Services in the 2025 season. She grew up in Ottertail, MN and attended Perham High School. She is married to her husband Logan, and they have 3 dogs. She also has 6 younger siblings. What Alexis loves about her job at Lake Shore Services is being a part of starting the irrigation division of the company and having the ability to watch it grow from the beginning as well as being able to spend her days outside. She enjoys having good, fair, and appreciative owners and supervisors to work with. In her free time, she enjoys fishing, especially travelling for ice fishing in the winters. She also enjoys hunting and being able to share these interests with her husband as well as introducing her younger siblings to these outdoor activities. She is also renovating an unfinished home that she and her husband purchased and enjoys watching it transform from a shell to a home!

Mason Doehring

Skilled Laborer

Mason is a General Laborer that began with Lake Shore Services in the 2024 season. He was born and raised in Fergus Falls, MN and attended Kenndy Secondary School. He has a girlfriend, Kayden and his siblings are Eli, Tyrone, and Dominic. What Mason loves about his job at Lake Shore Services is being outdoors, learning new things, and working with his hands. In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with friends, working on his car, and riding bike.

Jaxson Hieronimus

Lead Laborer/Irrigation

Jaxson is a General Laborer that began with Lake Shore Services in the 2023 season. He was born and raised in Fergus Falls, MN. He has a brother and a girlfriend, Kennedy. What Jaxson loves about his job at Lake Shore Services is being outdoors and working with his hands. In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with friends, gaming, and tubing.

Jonah Knick

General Laborer

Jonah is a General Laborer that began with Lake Shore Services in the 2023 season. He was born in Ashby, MN and raised in Fergus Falls, MN. He is currently attending MSUM studying computer science. He has two brothers in Fergus Falls. His dad is an elementary teacher and his mom works for CLB Missions. What Jonah loves about his job at Lake Shore Services is being outdoors, the physical challenge, and fun co-workers. In his free time, he enjoys basketball, fishing, disc golf, watching movies with family or playing games with his brothers. He also likes to spend time at his church interning with the youth ministry.

Keaghan Mullins

General Laborer

Keaghan is a General Laborer that began with Lake Shore Services in the 2025 season. He lived in MN for 11 years and then moved to ND. He is looking forward to moving back to MN. He is a highschool senior and is looking forward to what life will bring. He has 5 siblings, he is the second oldest. What Keaghan loves about his job at Lake Shore Services is that every day is different. In his free time, he enjoys fishing and cooking.
