Landscape Construction General Laborer
Work for a family-owned landscape construction company that has been serving Minnesota's lakes area for over 40 years. We serve Otter Tail and Becker Counties and specialize in protecting lake properties and transforming outdoor spaces.
The General Laborer works as part of a landscape construction crew, assisting with a variety of projects while learning skills and gaining experience in the landscape construction trade.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with landscape construction projects as directed by the Landscape Supervisor
- Load, unload, move, and organize project materials, tools, and equipment
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment as trained
- Maintain quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
- Follow directions and work effectively as part of a team
Projects may include:
- Shoreline stabilization and rip rap
- Retaining walls and paver patios, walkways, and driveways
- Rock and mulch beds and edging
- Boulder and wood steps and walkways
- Synthetic turf and plantings
- Tree, stump, and shrub removal
- Foundation water barriers and drain tile
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Dependability and a strong work ethic
- Ability to follow directions and work well as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
- Flexibility with projects, locations, schedules, and job-site conditions
- Previous landscaping, construction, or similar experience preferred, but not required
- Equipment operation experience preferred
- Carpentry experience preferred
- Mechanical knowledge/aptitude preferred

Pay: $18–$23/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
This is a seasonal position, typically Monday–Friday, with variable hours and overtime as workload requires. Work is performed outdoors in varying conditions, including summer heat and shoreline environments.

Landscape Construction Supervisor
Work for a family-owned landscape construction company that has been serving Minnesota’s lakes area for over 40 years. We serve Otter Tail and Becker Counties and specialize in protecting lake properties and transforming outdoor spaces.
The Landscape Supervisor is a hands-on leadership position, responsible for leading a crew while working alongside them to complete high-quality landscape construction projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead and work alongside a landscape construction crew
- Organize daily work and keep projects productive and on schedule
- Ensure quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Communicate with customers, employees, and company owners
- Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are ready for each project
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
- Operate construction equipment and machinery as needed
Projects may include:
- Shoreline stabilization and rip rap
- Retaining walls and paver patios, walkways, and driveways
- Rock and mulch beds and edging

The Skilled Laborer is an experienced member of our landscape construction team who performs skilled and specialized work while contributing to the quality, efficiency, and professionalism of each project.

- Perform skilled and specialized landscape construction tasks based on experience and training
- Operate construction equipment and machinery as needed
- Assist with project setup, materials, tools, and equipment
- Maintain quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
- Follow project direction and work effectively as part of a team
Projects may include:
